Royal Holloway, University of London is a leading British university located in Egham, Surrey, London, England. RHUL was founded in 1886 and was inaugurated by Queen Victoria herself. Royal Holloway joined the University of London as a constituent college in 1900 and was named one of the top 10 most beautiful campuses in the UK and one of the top 16 most beautiful campuses in the world by the Daily Telegraph for its old Gothic Founder's Building and green gardens. It is also one of five institutions selected by the University of London to specialize in science teaching and research. With several world-famous figures as alumni and some of the world's top math and science courses, this is a school with a great reputation in the UK.

English Classes
关于英语语言课程
On arrival at the camp, all children are given an English language proficiency test by a Cambridge accredited examiner and are placed in classes based on their CEFR (Cambridge Standard) English test level. Students are allocated to the course and class that best suits their current English language ability. All classes are taught by local teachers and the focus of the English program is to improve their English language skills and cultural knowledge simultaneously. All courses are taught on the university campus, giving students the opportunity to experience first-hand what it is like to study at a university abroad.

Extracurricular Activities

Students can participate in a variety of extra-curricular activities within the school. For extra-curricular activities, we have set aside 'blocks of time' where pupils gather in the center of the campus and are given different activities to choose from. They may choose to do rugby or football, art classes, computer classes, even drama or local culture-based classes. Each extra-curricular session is taught by the same teacher who previously taught the students English, and the lessons are made as fun, interactive and informative as possible. All of these extra-curricular activities are very popular with the students.

Mealtime

While the children are at school, they will eat in the same canteen as the university students on campus. The canteen meals are guaranteed to be nutritious and include a large variety of local British specialties. These meal times also give our children a great opportunity to socialize with students from other international schools (from as many as 22 other countries).
孩子们上学期间，他们会和校园里的大学生在同一个食堂吃饭。食堂的饭菜除了保证营养丰富，还有大量的当地英国特色美食。这些用餐时段也给了我们的孩子很好的机会与来自其他国际学校（来自多达22个其他国家）的学生们一起交流。
Travel

We will arrange a full day for our trip to London. As well as seeing many of the sights, such as Oxfordshire, home of the world-famous Oxford University, we will even take a tour of the Royal Family! On this royal tour, we will visit Buckingham Palace and a famous cathedral. In addition, we will explore some of London's famous shopping areas, and have a picnic at the world-famous Hyde Park. With these real, rich and wonderful memories, the children will all feel like they are taking a part of the real England home with them.

Making Friends

Through shared lunchtimes, lessons and trips, our camp children will be able to meet English speaking students from all over the world. During our last trip, the children who left the UK for China said a tearful goodbye with genuine affection to those who had quickly become good friends.
通过共同的午餐时间、上课时间、还有旅行时间，我们营地的孩子们能够结识到来自世界各地的同样在说英语的学生。在我们最终要离开英国回中国时，面对这些很快和自己成为好朋友的伙伴们，他们将带着真挚的感情，与好朋友告别，也将在未来和他们继续保持友谊。
Camp Management
关于夏令营安全
At least one teacher is assigned to live in each floor of the dormitory to ensure the safety of your child. In addition to this, groups of students are accompanied by a member of staff throughout their stay. As for our CIEO children, they will also be accompanied by the CIEO staff and camp teachers that we have arranged to depart together in China. Parents will receive daily photos and videos of the camp's daily activities from their teachers every evening in a WeChat group. Also, the children can use their own mobile phones to talk and communicate with their families in China when they return to their dormitories. There is a 24-hour on-site security team at the University who maintain patrols. There is also campus closed circuit television. All rooms have secure key cards.

Laundry
关于洗衣店
Located at the main front desk and open late into the night every day. Laundry detergent can be purchased directly from the laundry. Participants coming to the laundry must be accompanied by a group leader. Bed linen will be washed once a week by arrangement with the school. All trainees are expected to bring their own towels and personal toiletries.

Students will be given a Wi-Fi password upon arrival. We also have a computer centre on site which participants can use in a designated evening activity centre.

Modern en-suite rooms with bathrooms, high standard fitted kitchens and social spaces in every area, all rooms are equipped with high speed Wi-Fi and the accommodation areas are very conveniently located for access to the school canteen, with an average of 6-8 dormitories sharing a large kitchen.
